China's Imperial Palace Bookends
Commissioned by Emperor Zhu Di of the Ming Dynasty, the Forbidden City remains the largest and best preserved complex of ancient buildings existing in China. It was built in 1406-1420.
The rectangular shaped complex is 961 meters North to South and 753 meters from East to West. There are 8,700 rooms in the Palace.
The Palace is a masterpiece of architectural art in the traditional style of Chinese Palace buildings.
The red and yelow colors of the buildings symbolize the Emperor's strength and supremecy.
Each set comes with 2 bookends. They are made of resin with an antiqued finish.
